Christian County junior Pickle Winkler has been named to the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Class 3A Honorable Mention All-State Team.
Winkler hit .543 with five home runs and 40 RBIs. She led the team in doubles with 11 and was second with 19 extra-base hits. She also stole 45 bases in 48 attempts and became both the single-season and career leaders for Christian County in stolen bases.
While Kentucky softball is an unclassified sport, the coaches split the state into three classes for the purpose of its all-state awards given out each year.
