After starting the minor league season on the disabled list, Hopkinsville native Easton McGee is starting to get more time on the mound over the past few weeks. McGee currently plays for the Montgomery Biscuits, a AA team in the Tampa Bay Rays organization.

McGee was activated from the 60-day disabled list by the Biscuits on June 1st. He had gone on the DL May 4, which was opening day for Birmingham.

In his most recent outing, on June 19, McGee pitched three innings in relief, giving up no runs, on just one hit, striking out one and walking none. He threw 31 pitches in his three innings of work, 22 of which were strikes.
