Falcons Focused on Becoming a Team After No Season in 2020 (w/AUDIO)

After not getting the chance to play football in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fort Campbell Falcons are now just four weeks away from their first action on the gridiron in nearly two years. In addition to the pandemic, the Falcons have seen two head coaches sent they last played a game.

At the end of the second week of practice coming out of the dead period, the Falcon players and coaches took a tour of two locations on post to help them focus on the challenges ahead during the football season. One of those was Fryer Stadium and the other was a monument saluting the Lifeliners.

During their visits, first-year head coach Charles Poole spoke to the group of young Falcons about being “a team”:

The Falcons are set to officially open the season August 20th at Muhlenberg County.
