Former Tiger Josiah Patton Headed to Massachusetts

A former Hopkinsville Tiger is headed up to New England to continue his collegiate basketball career. According to a social media post, Josiah Patton has signed to play with Fisher College, in Boston.

Patton is transferring to Fisher from Pikeville.

After scoring six points a game in leading Hopkinsville to a region title in 2017, Patton averaged 10 points a game for Rocky Valley College in 2018-19, helping the Golden Eagles advance to the NJCCA D-III National Championship.

He played his freshman season at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas.

Fisher College is an NAIA school, playing in the Continental Athletic Conference. The conference has 19 schools: Bacone College (Oklahoma), Cottey College (Missouri), Crowley’s Ridge College (Arkansas), Fisher College (Massachusetts), Fisk University (Tennessee), Florida College, Florida National University, Georgia Gwinnett College, Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas), Iowa Wesleyan University, Lincoln Christian University (Illinois), Morris College (South Carolina), Northern New Mexico College, Penn State Schuylkill, University of Virgin Islands, University of Victoria (British Columbia), Voorhees College (South Carolina), Washington Adventist University (Maryland) and Wilberforce University (Ohio).
