It was a nice way to rebound for the University Heights Academy Blazers Thursday night. Two nights after losing a tough 4-3 decision on the road at Hopkins Central the Blazers came back to pick up a shutout win on the road at Webster County.

The UHA defense gave a big performance on the night. That performance was anchored by goalie Quinton Quarles, who turned back the Trojans all night long, finishing the match with ten saves in the net.

On the offensive side, Ethan Hale got things ramped up, finishing the night with a hat trick. Connor Dill added the other Blazer goal. Mason Price chipped in with an assist.

UHA improves to 1-1 on the season with the win. The Blazers are set to be back in action Saturday night when they host Calloway County.

Webster County drops to 0-2. The Trojans will travel to Christian County for a midday match Saturday.
