Clinton County had to fight off a strong effort from Todd County Central, picking up the win in a third and deciding set Saturday afternoon by upending the Lady Rebels two sets to one in the title match.

The opening set of the match saw Clinton County control the match early, getting out to an 18-12 lead. The Lady Bulldogs were then able to hold on to take the first set 25-20.

Clinton County was leading in the second set 15-13, but, unlike the last two seasons, the Lady Rebels would not go down in straight sets on this Saturday at Cumberland County High School. Todd County Central battled back, outscoring Clinton County 12-5 the rest of the way to claim the set 25-20 and force the championship-deciding third set.

In the final set, the Lady Bulldogs were able to take advantage of some Todd Central miscues. Clinton County would pull out the set win 25-17 to claim another All-A regional championship for the Lady Bulldogs.
