Hoptown Wins Three-Team Match; Lindseys Go 1-2

Hopkinsville saw its four golfers all shoot in the 40s which helped the Lady Tigers win a three-team match Monday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.

Meanwhile, Rheagan Lindsey of University Heights Academy took medalist honors with a score of 37.  She was two shots ahead of her sister Conlee who finished in second place.

Cate Blane shot a 40 to finish third for Hoptown. She was joined on the scorecard by Anna Fort’s 44, Anna Blane’s 47, and Audrey Rains’ 39.  Hoptown won with 180 points.

UHA scored 189 points to finish second. Other than the 1-2 finish by the Lindsey sisters, Ava Colburn shot a 50, and Lucy Wilkins added a 63 for the Lady Blazers.

Christian County took third place with 204 points. Jessah Hayden and Lexi Johnson each carded a 46 to lead the Lady Colonels with Riley Johnson one shot back with a 47. Lacy Patterson shot a 55, Claire Lacy added a 65, and Emilee Cook shot a 66.
