The Todd County Central Lady Rebels hit the road Wednesday night and returned home with an impressive district volleyball win. The Lady Rebels cruised to a three-set sweep over Franklin Simpson.
Todd County Central rolled through the opening set, taking it 25-12. The Lady Wildcats battled back in the second set and extended the Lady Rebels before Todd County Central finally took the set 25-22 to go up two sets to none.
The third set was more like the first as Todd County Central closed out the sweep with a 25-10 win.
The Lady Rebels got another big night from Lucy Chester, who finished with 11 kills. Lanie Bivins added six kills and four service aces.
Addileigh Wofford set the table for her teammates with 17 assists on the evening.
The win, which was Todd Central’s second straight, improved the Lady Rebels to 4-2 on the season. They are set to be back in action this weekend at the wReck at the Plex.
