Hopkinsville didn’t have enough golfers to field a full team Saturday, but three golfers posted solid scores at the Marshall County Invitational.
Cate Blane tied for 13th place with an 8-over 80 on the Calvert City Country Club course. She shot a 40 on each side. Blane carded six pars on the front nine and four pars and a birdie on the back nine.
Anna Fort just missed finishing inside the top 25 with a round of 85. After going out with a 45, Fort had six pars on the back nine to come in with a 40.
Anna Blane was Hoptown’s third golfer and finished with a score of 106.
Lyon County’s Cathryn Brown shot a 5-under 67 to take medalist honors. She finished three shots ahead of second-place Trinity Beth of Marshall County.
