University Heights Academy finished in ninth place Saturday at the Marshall County Invitational played at the Calvert City Golf and Country Club.
Conlee Lindsey led the Lady Blazer effort with a score of 86. She carded four pars on the front nine to go out with a 42. Lindsey had three pars on the back nine to come in with a 44.
Rheagan Lindsey shot a 90 with a 45 on each side of the course.
Ava Colburn shot a 105, and Lucy Wilkins added a 121 for the Lady Blazers, who posted a team score of 402.
Lyon County’s Cathryn Brown shot a 5-under 67 to take medalist honors. She finished three shots ahead of second-place Trinity Beth of Marshall County.
Marshall County won the team title on its home course with a score of 303. Madisonville was second with a score of 315.
The Lady Blazers will have a nine-hole match this week as they prepare for the All-A Classic State Tournament next Saturday in Richmond.
