Another meet, another first-place finish for Hopkinsville’s Allison Wood. Wood took first place in the girls’ race at the Calloway County Invitational cross country meet over the weekend.
Wood’s time of 20:29.30 was nearly 19 seconds faster than Reese Settle, of Calloway County, who finished second. Hoptown’s Lauren Mayes took third place in the girls’ run.
Of the schools fielding a full team in the run, Hopkinsville finished in 1st place, Stewart County took second, and Fort Campbell was third.
