Lady Warriors Get Four-Set Win at Webster County

For the second time this season, Heritage Christian Academy dropped its first set and rallied to win the match. The latest came Monday as HCA took a four-set win at Webster County to improve to 5-1 against KHSAA schools.

HCA dropped the first set to the Lady Trojans 25-22.  They came back to win the final three and the match 25-17, 25-21, 25-21.

Mya Goodwin had 21 assists for the Lady Warriors and had six of her nine aces in the third set.

Lexie Crisp added seven kills and 13 digs, and Elle Heltsley had a team-high 13 kills.

Bella Peach had 19 digs on defense. Tori Sutton added 10 digs, and Bailey Craft had 12 assists and six digs.

Webster County’s season record evens at 9-9.

Heritage Christian Academy improves to 16-2 and will host KCAA foe Legacy Christian Tuesday.
