The Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons came into the 2021 soccer season expecting to contend for the 2nd Region championship. Their performance Tuesday night against the Hopkinsville Tigers should do nothing to temper those expectations.

Nojah Jimenez score the first three goals of the night for the Maroons and things snowballed from their as Madisonville cruised to a 10-0 win over Hopkinsville at Donley Field.

Jimenez had plenty of help from his Maroon teammates Tuesday night. J.J. Brown and Logan Terry scored two goals each, while Zach Bryant, Caden Crowell, and Eli Redpath had one goal each.

The Hopkinsville Tigers will continue to look for their first win of the season Thursday when they go back to Hopkins County, this time to take on the Hopkins Central Storm.

Madisonville will host Webster County Thursday evening.
