On the night they honored their only senior Meredith Drummond, the Todd County Lady Central Rebels gave a strong performance in winning their 15th match of the season. The Lady Rebels had little trouble as they cruised to a straight-set win over Muhlenberg County.

The Lady Rebels opened the night with a 25-13 win in the opening set. That would be their toughest set of the night.

Todd Central won the second set 25-12 and then closed out the match by taking the third set 25-6.

With the sweep, the Lady Rebels kept their streak alive of every match they have won during the 2021 volleyball season has been in straight sets.

Lanie Bivins and Lucy Chester were way too much for the Lady Mustangs to handle at the net. Bivins had 13 kills while Chester added 12 more. Bivins also had seven service aces for the Lady Rebels.

Addileigh Wofford had another “Addileigh Wofford” kind of night. She wound up with 24 assists, three kills, and two service aces.

The Lady Rebels will now wrap up the regular season with a couple of tournament appearances. This weekend they will be in Paducah for the annual Quad State Tournament. The following weekend, they will be taking part in the Toyota of Hopkinsville Western Kentucky Smack Down.
