Christian County struggled through a winless regular season in 2020 before pulling off the upset of Hopkinsville in the semifinals of the boys’ district tournament.
One year later, the Colonels again enter the postseason winless. However, Christian County has to feel both unlucky and close to breaking into the win column. The Colonels have lost nine of the 14 by two goals or less. They dropped their three district games by one goal each.
Coach Arne Seeger thinks the Colonels are close and believes an early lead in Monday’s semifinal with Christian County could be the difference in the match.
