Madisonville-North Hopkins followed its region three-peat with a fourth-place finish Wednesday at the girls’ state golf tournament played at the Bowling Green Country Club.
The Lady Maroons had a two-day score of +98, which was 60 shots behind Marshall County who set a state record low score in winning its second straight state title.
Kaitlyn Zieba led the Lady Maroons with an 18th place finish at 16-over. Kat Weir tied for 22nd place at 18-over, and Karra Tucker finished in 25th place 19-over thanks to a second-day score of 78.
Sydney Browning tied for 79th place at 45-over, and Stella Knight was 91st at 69-over.
