Another strong performance from Allison Wood led the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers’ cross country team over the weekend. The Lady Tigers were among those participating in the Daviess County Classic.
Wood finished her race in a time of 19:36.91. That time was good enough to place her 4th in the girls’ race. Carolyn Ford, of Rock Bridge High School, ran away from the field for 1st place with a time of 18:01.99.
In the team competition, the Lady Tigers finished 8th with 211 points. Rock Bridge easily won the girls’ team total with 23 points. Daviess County was second with 63.
