With three wins in their last five matches, the Trigg County Lady Wildcats are playing some of their best volleyball of the season at the right time.  However, that momentum took a hit on Tuesday with a shutout loss at Murray High.

Trigg County has been off for a week since dispatching Union County 3-1 and some rust may have played a part as the Lady Wildcats fell 14-25 in the first set on Tuesday.

Murray eased to another 11-point victory in the second, before finishing things off with a 25-10 win in the third set.

The Lady Wildcats will head to Hopkinsville on Thursday for the first-ever meeting with Heritage Christian Academy.  The Lady Warriors sport an 11-4 record in their first season as a KHSAA team.
