Caldwell County exchange student Filippo Taccola has been a welcome addition to the Tiger soccer team this season.
He had an assist Tuesday night as Caldwell defeated Trigg County 3-0 in the first round of the 2nd Region soccer tournament at the Stadium of Champions in Hopkinsville.
Taccola says a formation change in the second half helped Caldwell control the final 40 minutes after leading just 1-0 at halftime.
