Another stellar defensive performance and a Trenton Hayes goal off a Vova West assist on Friday night gave the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors a 1-0 victory over Assumption Academy and the program’s first KCAA state soccer title.
YSE was on hand at the Elizabethtown Sports Park to get the Warriors’ celebration from the field to the awards ceremony.
