Dawson Springs Takes 4th at King and Queen of the West

Dawson Springs ran to a fourth-place finish Saturday at the King and Queen of the West Invitational hosted by Hopkinsville High School.

Tyler Hale led the Panther runners with a 10th place finish with a time of 19:30 over the 3.1-mile course. He was 1:18 behind the race winner, Austin Cavanaugh of Trigg County.

Ethan Osborne was 18th with a time of 19:52, and Lucas Osborne was 20th in 19:53.

Yosiyah McCune was 29th, Michael Faughn was 33rd, Sean Stallins was 55th, and Alex Mitchell came in 95th place.

In the team standings, the Panthers were fourth with 103 points. Graves County was third with 101 points.

Dawson Springs will look to defend its region title Saturday when they run in the Class A Region 1 Meet at Trigg County.
