Fort Campbell 8th-grader Hannah Corrales punched her ticket to next week’s state cross country meet with a 5th-place run at Saturday’s Region 1 1A meet at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
Corrales posted a 23:32.46 to lead the Lady Falcons, with St. Mary’s Gabby Ault taking 1st place with a run of 20:41.93.
Fort Campbell missed qualification as a team, finishing 4th with 72 points and an average time of 26:54.32.
Sunny Joo was next for the Lady Falcons in 17th with a time of 25:37.43. Ava Roberts was 20th with a 26:14.88 and Alexandra Stearns crossed the line right behind her with a time of 26:31.12. Patricia Galarza rounded out the Fort Campbell runners in 32nd place.
