Four Todd Central Rebels Named All-SKY

Five times this season, the Todd County Central Rebels have held an opponent to less than 15 points. With that, four members of the Rebel defense have been recognized for their efforts on that side of the football during the 2021 season.

Seniors Omarion Riddick and Chase Wells have been named to the All SKY 1st Team Defense. Junior Nate Reding and senior X-Zavion West were named to the All SKY 2nd Team Defense.

Riddick, a free safety on defense, leads the team with 92 tackles, with one of those a tackle for loss. Riddick also has one interception.

Wells, who plays defensive end, is second on the team in total tackles with 81, 16 ½ of those have been for a loss. Wells leads the teams with 7 ½ sacks on the season.

West, at the other defensive end slot, has 58 tackles on the season, 18 of those being tackles for loss. West also has four sacks for the Rebels.

Reding, who plays strong safety on defense, is third on the team in tackles with 61, five of those being for loss. Reding has two picks for the Rebels with a total of 33 return yards off those interceptions.

The Rebels open the postseason Friday night when they host Hancock County.
