Lady Warriors Roll to Win in 2021-22 Season Opener

Three players scored in double figures to lead Heritage Christian Academy to a 44-26 win and give Darrell Crawford his first win as Lady Warrior basketball coach Monday.

The win came over KCAA region opponent Valor Christian of Owensboro. A scheduling mixup moved the game to Warrior Gym just hours before tipoff.

HCA led 8-4 after one quarter and opened the second frame with a 10-2 run to take an 18-6 lead. Bailey Craft scored all ten of her points in the first half. She also had five rebounds and three steals.

The Lady Warriors led 22-12 at the break thanks to 17 first half turnovers by the Tigers.

Tori Sutton scored eight of her 10 points in the second half as the Lady Warriors pushed their advantage to 37-22.

Hallie Zieg HCA with 20 points and 11 steals. She also had three assists.

Rachel King scored 18 points to lead Valor.

Heritage Christian returns to the floor on Nov. 18 at Christian Community, Tenn.
