Jackson Hill knew in middle school that he wanted to play Division I golf after high school. On Wednesday, the Madisonville-North Hopkins High School senior cemented that prophecy when he signed scholarship papers with Northern Kentucky University.
Hill was named Second-Team All-State by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association as a sophomore and followed it up with First-Team honors in both his junior and senior seasons.
As a junior, Hill posted wins at the Christian County Invitational and the Madisonville Invitational and placed fourth at the Kentucky All-State Championships. He followed a fourth-place finish at the Region 2 Tournament with a 29th place finish at the KHSAA State Tournament.
In his senior season, Hill captured invitational titles in Daviess County and Hopkins County Central and finished ninth at the Kentucky All-State tournament.
Hill captured the region title and tied for 26th at the Kentucky State Golf Tournament in Bowling Green.
A 3.7 GPA student, Hill plans to study sports management at NKU with a minor in business.
