With much of last season’s 16-5 squad back, including one of the top players in the region in guard Taylor Guess, hopes are high this season for the Crittenden County Lady Rockets.
Crittenden was one of five teams scrimmaging in Marion on Saturday, hosting Caldwell County, Carlisle County, Hopkins County Central and Murray.
Your Sports Edge spoke with Lady Rocket head coach Shannon Hodge about Saturday’s scrimmages and the upcoming season for Crittenden County’s girls.
She says her squad is a “work in progress” this season.
