On a day of giving thanks, Fort Campbell wrestling coach Anthony Shingler has spent the past month giving thanks that 2021-22 season appears to be a go.
Shingler has worked to build both a boys’ and girls’ program at Fort Campbell, faring well at the 2018 and 2019 girls’ state tournaments.
However, DoDEA put the brakes on the 2020 season as they did other contact sports at Fort Campbell and Fort Knox. Now given a green light, Shingler is ready to see the Falcons back on the mat and has several returning wrestlers ready to make an impact this season.
