Heritage Christian Academy closed the game on a 25-5 run to pull off one of the largest fourth quarter comebacks in school history Tuesday, downing Montgomery Central 55-52 Tuesday at Warrior Gym.
Matt Wills scored 10 of his game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter as Carlos Robles added seven points and Zane Yates six points in the frame. Robles would finish the game with 14 points and Yates had 10.
Montgomery Central jumped out to an 18-7 lead after one quarter and extended it to 32-18 by halftime.
The win by the Warriors came one night after they lost their first game against a KHSAA opponent 96-43 to Madisonville.
HCA improves to 5-2 and will play another KHSAA school, Henderson County, on Saturday.
