With a loss to UHA in last season’s 2nd Region title game still fresh in their minds, the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons got some measure of revenge with a 72-61 victory over the Blazers on Friday in an early-season matchup with a postseason feel.
Ashton Gaines had 19 points for the Maroons, and afterward, he discussed the win over the Blazers.
