Hopkinsville had two wrestlers reach the podium Saturday at the West Creek Coyote Classic in Clarksville.
Trushaun Matt had the top finish of the day for the Tigers, finishing in second place in the 113-pound class. He fell to West Creek’s Garret Furnas in the championship match by fall.
Holden Schneider finished in fourth place in the 132-pound class. After losing his first match, he came back with four straight wins before losing to Beech’s Cameron Cain in the third place match.
With just two wrestlers, Hopkinsville totaled 36 points and finished in 18th place.
