
The Union County Bravettes led most of the way while picking up their first win of the season on Saturday.
Madison Morris had 17 points and Reese Hagan added 13 as the Bravettes ran past Caldwell County 72-32 in the 6th District/7th District Shootout at Union County High School.
Caldwell (0-3) led only briefly at 1-0 and 3-2.
But a 10-0 run put Union (1-2) up 12-3.
The Bravettes led 19-6 after one quarter and 42-17 at halftime.
Union extended the margin to 64-28 through three quarters on the way to the 40-point decision.
Parris Gray led Caldwell with nine points.
The Lady Tigers will play again Tuesday at Crittenden County.
