UHA Falls at Henderson County 46-31

University Heights Academy fell behind early and suffered a 46-31 setback to Henderson County in the Henderson Chevrolet Buick GMC Classic Thursday night.

Henderson freshman Cooper Davenport was the only person on either side to score in double figures, burying five 3-pointers and finishing with 19 points.

The host Colonels (8-3) led 12-4 after one quarter, 25-14 at halftime, and 34-20 through three quarters.

The Blazers (3-7) got nine points from Gavin Grubbs and eight from Elijah Walton.

UHA went 1-2 the last three days in the Henderson event. The Colonels finished 3-0 in their own Classic.

The Blazers next play in McCracken County’s Mustang Madness on Thursday, Jan. 6, against the host Mustangs.

Henderson will visit Hopkinsville on Tuesday, Jan. 4.
