Falcon and Lady Falcon Wrestlers Compete at ‘Battle for Independence’

The wrestling teams from Fort Campbell High School were among those taking part Thursday at the Maher/Garstin “Battle for Independence. The Falcons ended the day with an 11th place finish, while the Lady Falcons took 5th place on the girls’ side.

The Falcons took 11th place with a total of 51.5 points. Summit was 1st with 180.5. Brentwood finished in second place with 166.5.

In the girls’ meet, the Lady Falcons took the 5th place slot with a total of 75 points. Rossview finished in first place with 167. Clarksville Northwest was in 2nd place with 125.

Individually, the Fort Campbell guys had three wrestlers bring home Top 5 finishes. Those were:
