Lady Cardinals Bounce Fort Campbell in 2nd Region All-A (w/PHOTOS)

The Livingston Central girls’ basketball team made sure Fort Campbell’s stay in the 2nd Region All-A tournament was a short one with a 57-21 victory in Smithland on Monday night.

The Lady Cardinals’ second victory of the season over the Lady Falcons improves their record to 3-6 while Fort Campbell is still looking for its first win of the season.

Livingston Central wasted no time getting on top, rushing out to a 19-0 advantage and leading 23-2 after the 1st quarter.  Hadley Hargrove had five points for the Lady Cardinals and Victoria Joiner added six.

Marlee Fanning had four of the Lady Falcons’ seven 2nd-quarter points.  Livingston Central got five from Maggie Downey and four for Emersyn Ramage to lead 39-9 at the halftime break.

Aubrey Leahy and Mikaela Holman combined for eight in the 3rd and the Lady Cardinals built the margin to 42 points.  Fanning scored six of her team-high 10 and the Lady Falcons outscored Livingston Central 10-4 in the 4th for the final score.
