If the Todd County Central Rebels had only been able to count the points scored by sophomore center Jamison Glass, they would have still advanced Monday night to the semifinals of the 4th Region All A Classic. As it was, the Rebels scored significantly more than Glass’s 18 points as the Rebels cruised past Foundation Christian 69-17 in Bowling Green.

The Rebels effectively ended this one in the opening quarter. Todd Central limited Foundation Christian to just one made field goal in the first eight minutes as they jumped out to a 22-2 lead.

The Rebel defense kept the clamps on during the second quarter while the offense kept the foot on the gas. By the time the two teams went into the break, the Todd Central lead was up to 41-8.

With the running clock coming into play early in the second half, the game played out quickly when the teams returned to the court. The Rebels push the lead out to 63-13 at the end of the third quarter. The Rebels then put it in cruise control to finish out the game and pick up the 52 point win.

Jamison Glass led the way for Todd County Central finishing with 18 points. He was one of eleven different Rebels to get into the scoring column. Mareke Johnson just missed double figures with nine points.

7th grader William Cummins led Foundation with 7 points. Jeremy Stewart chipped in with six points for the Falcons.

The Rebels improve to 12-2 with the win and will advance to the regional semifinals Thursday night.
