Last season’s leading scorer for the Trigg County Wildcats is taking his scoring touch to the college level after signing with Brescia University on Thursday.
Timmy Mendez found the back of the net nine times in fifteen games in 2021 to pace the goal-shy Wildcats. He joins a Bearcats team that finished 9-7-1 last season and fell 1-0 to Oakland City University in the second round of the River States Conference tournament.
After putting pen to paper, Mendez pointed to conditioning as an area he needs to improve as he transitions to the college game.
