The Todd County Central Rebels were pushed throughout their first meeting with Logan County on the road three weeks ago, but Friday night’s rematch on Homecoming night in Elkton was over soon after it started.

The Rebels built a double-digit lead in the 1st quarter and never looked back on the way to a 64-27 victory over the Cougars.  Todd Central improves to 21-7 and 4-2 in 13th-District play, while Logan County remains winless at 0-23.

Todd Central got seven points from Jamison Glass and Preston Moore added five to build a 14-0 lead before the Cougars finally got on the board with a free throw for the final points of the 1st quarter.

The Rebels continued to pile it on in the 2nd and stretched the margin to 20 after four straight points for Glass.  Jacob Brandon drilled a 3-pointer for a 34-9 score ahead of a putback bucket for Mareke Johnson just ahead of the halftime buzzer.

On cruise control in the 2nd half, Todd Central maintained a 27-point cushion behind five 3rd-quarter points from Trayvon Foster.  Dakota Clinard scored seven of Logan County’s 12 points in the frame.

Brandon’s second 3 of the night triggered the running clock at 56-22 with 5:20 left in the game and the Rebels cleared the bench for the remainder of the contest.

Todd Central has a week off before they close their regular-season slate with a visit from Dawson Springs.
