Maliq Crosby entered last week’s region wrestling tournament with a season record of 8-7. Fort Campbell wrestling coach Anthony Shingler said Crosby had to win some matches at practice before he would put him on the weekend mat at tournaments.
Crosby’s work paid off Saturday as he won three matches and finished in third place. He said the past year has been an interesting journey for him.
