’10 for 10′ – Lady Blazers Find Way Into Top 10 at KTCCCA Indoor Meet

University Heights Academy only took six girls’ to the KTCCCA President’s Day Indoor Meet Sunday in Louisville.  However, they had ten top-10 finishes on the day as they prepare for the start of the outdoor track season that begins in less than a month.

The event was run at the new Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center in Louisville.  It brought together nearly 1,000 athletes from all age groups from various high schools, private and public teams in an event that lasted over nine hours.

LADY BLAZER RESULTS

Jaila Batey – 4th in the weight throw [22-00.50]; 13th in the shot put [26-05.75];

Audrey Grise – 6th in the 60-meter hurdles [11.34]; 7th in the triple jump [8.34m]; 32nd in the 200-meter dash [29.83]

Ragen Pollard – 8th in the weight throw [18-00.50]; 14th in the shot put [25-00.25]

Piper Hancock – 14th in the 400-meter dash [1:07.23]; 25th in the 15-18 200-meter dash [29.44]

Aliviah Acree – 16th in the 60-meter dash [9.20]; 20th in the 200-meter dash [31.29]

Kendall Hancock – 17th in the 200-meter dash [30.64]

The 1600-meter relay team of Aliviah Acree, Audrey Grise, Piper Hancock, and Kendall Hancock finished in sixth place in 4:50.58.
