Lady Rebels Put Up 30 Runs in Wins Over Kenwood, Warren Central (w/PHOTOS)

Cold and windy conditions proved to be the biggest obstacle the Todd County Central Lady Rebels faced in a pair of victories in Elkton on Saturday, with blowouts over visiting Kenwood, TN and Warren Central by a combined score of 30-2.

The Lady Rebels improve to 6-1 overall with a chance to avenge their only loss when they hit the road to West Creek, TN on Monday.

Trailing 1-0, a six-run 1st, highlighted by an RBI double by Karli Herrera, put Todd Central in front for good against Kenwood.

The Lady Rebels took advantage of four walks, a passed ball, and two hit-by-pitches to score seven runs in the bottom of the 3rd for the final 15-2 score.

Jocelyn Mock earned the win in the circle, allowing a single earned run on three hits with a walk and four strikeouts.

Bryanna Porter took the loss for Kenwood, surrendering 14 earned runs on five hits with 11 walks.

The Lady Rebels didn’t waste any time taking the lead against Warren Central, posting seven runs in the bottom of the 2nd for an 8-0 advantage.

Todd Central added seven runs over the 3rd and 4th behind a pair of RBI singles by Sam Case for a 15-0 victory.

Addison Woodall went the distance in the circle for the win, allowing only two hits with a walk and four strikeouts.

Mock drove in six runs, and Case had a pair of hits and four RBI.
