The tennis teams from Lyon County hit the road Thursday night for matches against the Maroons and Lady Maroons from Madisonville-North Hopkins. Madisonville came away with the wins in both boys’ and girls’ action.
In boys’ play, the Maroons handled the Lyons 8-1. Madisonville won all six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches.
The Lady Maroons won the girls’ team match 7-2. Madisonville won 4 of 6 singles matches and took all three doubles matches.
