The Caldwell County Lady Tiger basketball team honored its top players from this past season at its annual awards ceremony Sunday in the Fine Arts Theatre at CCHS.
Players recognized were Parris Gray, Senior Award, Most Points Per Game; Ky Boyd, Senior Award; A.J. Hollowell, Lady Tiger Award; Jakhia Copeland, 110% Award; Lulu Thompson, Newcomer Award; Brylee Butts, Defense Award, Most Steals; Katy Smiley, Most Rebounds, Best Field Goal Percentage; Presley McKinney, Best 3-Point Field Goal Percentage; Med Thomas, Best Free Throw Percentage; Morgan Aikins, Most Assists; and Davani Williams, Most Improved.
Managers Josie Shaffer and Kendall Boyd each received the Above & Beyond Award.
In addition, head coach Chuck Mitchell recognized assistant coach J.J. Griggs, who is retiring from coaching.
Awards were handed out to the players by assistant coach Tori Loomis.
