Lady Falcons Take 3rd Place at Tilghman Invitational

The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons gave a strong indication over the weekend that they will be a force to be reckoned with come regional track & field time. With several strong performances, the Lady Falcons took 3rd place in a loaded field at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational, finishing behind Calloway County and the host Lady Tornado.

Fort Campbell took home a set of four first-place finishes from the meet. Meg Lubas had two of those with wins in the Girls 800 Meter Run and the Girls 1600 Meter Run.

Gianna Verdone finished first in the Girls 100 Meter Hurdles.

The Girls 4×800 Meter Relay team of Meg Lubas, Keelin Gray, Lauren Blanton, and Elizabeth Allen also took first place, winning their race by nearly 17 seconds.
