Lady Wildcats Place 5th at Tilghman Invitational

The Trigg County girls’ track and field team finished in fifth place in a strong field Saturday at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational.

The Lady Wildcats had six finishes in the top five to finish with 53.16 points. McCracken County was in fourth place with 72 points.

LADY WILDCAT RESULTS

Fatu Crain – 1st in the 400-yard run (1:02.30); 3rd in the 200-meter dash (27.82)

Riley Brame – 3rd in the 100-meter hurdles (19.25); 6th in the 300-meter hurdles (58.21); 6th in the high jump (4-04)

Alliyah Thomas – 4th in the 400-meter run (1:07.40); 7th in the 200-meter dash (30.48)

Alesha Nyakeraka – 6th in the 1600-meter run (7:15.80)

Alex Smith – 7th in the 800-meter run (3:06.70); 15th in the discus throw (53-10); 18th in the shot put (21-01.50)

Bella Moore – 10th in the 800-meter run (3:26)

Alivia Norwood – 11th in the shot put (24-03); 15th in the discus throw (53-10)

Evonna McGee – 12th in the 800-meter run (3:28.90)

Mackenzie Gugeski – 14th in the long jump (11-01)

Gabbi McGee – 18th in the 400-meter run (1:24.01)

Emma Dowell – 18th in the discus throw (44-07); 21st in the shot put (17-06)

 

The 3200-meter relay team of Gabbi McGee, Alesha Nyakeraka, Evonna McGee, and Jessie Paulter came in third place in 13:17.40.

The 1600-meter relay team of Alliyah Thomas, Riley Brame, Jessie Paulter, and Fatu Crain finished in fourth place in a time of 4:52.29.

The 800-meter relay team of Evonna McGee, Fatu Crain, Alliyah Thomas, and Gabbi McGee finished in sixth place in 2:03.07.
