Balanced Offense Carries Lady Falcons to Home Win

Six Fort Campbell players had at least two hits to help the Lady Falcons to a 10-3 win over Clarksville Christian Thursday on post.

The box score offered a striking balance from top to bottom. Hollyn Habhab, Carrie McCrary, and Anika Weisbrich each had two hits and two RBI. Alexsa Hoffman had three hits and an RBI, and Katelyn Griffey and Hope Balzeski each contributed a pair of hits.

Fort Campbell broke open a 4-3 game with a six-run sixth inning. Carrie McCrary scored two with a double and Nadia Valez plated two more with a two-out double.

Kiley McCrary was strong in the circle for the Lady Falcons, allowing two earned runs and six hits while striking out 13 batters.

Fort Campbell (3-9) will host Fort Knox Saturday morning in the Sisters in Arms Game. The Lady Falcons, who won the trophy last year for the first time in 22 years, look to keep the hardware at Fort Campbell with a win.
