After picking up an impressive 3-2 victory over Henderson County in their early game on Saturday, the Christian County Colonels were slow out of the gate in their afternoon matchup with Marshall County.
However, the Colonels found a way and came from behind to top the Marshals 6-5 and improve to 22-3 overall. Senior Lane Gamble made the comeback possible, taking the mound to start the 3rd and limiting Marshall County to a single run on four hits over the remainder of the game.
Afterward, Gamble talked about the Colonels’ gutty victory.
