Most of us would be down for the count with a case of strep throat, not on the tennis court competing for a regional championship. Most of us don’t have the depth of competitive fire that resides in the heart of Hopkinsville’s Abby Moss. She had been battling the illness since the tournament began and found an inner reserve to win a hard-fought semifinal match before losing to teammate Sophie Maddux in the regional championship match.
