Caldwell County saw its girls’ track and field season come to an end Friday at the Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Class 2A State Track and Field Championships at the University of Kentucky.
Kylee White finished 18th in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:00.37.
The 800-meter relay team of Shaely Thibodeaux, Amaya Merritt, Med Thomas, and Avery Wells finished in 20th place with a clocking of 1:55.65.
The 3200-meter relay team of Mariah Merritt, Kylee White, Addyson Schott, and Jordan Ortt came in 21st place in 11:33.28.
The 400-meter relay team of Mariah Merritt, Amaya Merritt, Avery Wells, and Shaely Thibodeaux was 21st in a time of 54.06 seconds.
