Crain’s Personal Bests Highlight Trigg’s Day at State Track

Trigg County sophomore Fatu Crain had a pair of personal bests as part of her day at the Clark’s Pump-N-Save Class 2A State Track and Field Championships at the University of Kentucky Friday.

Crain was 10th in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:01.49, which was a personal best and the eighth fastest in school history.

Crain also finished 17th in the 200 meters in 26.81 seconds. Her time was another personal best

Riley Brame was 24th in the 100-meter hurdles in 19.21 seconds.

The 3200-meter relay team of Fatu Crain, Alliyah Thomas, Alesha Nyakeraka, and Alex Smith ran a time of 11:28.23 which was good enough for 19th place.
