Crittenden County All-District and All-Region performer Maddox Carlson has added another title to his resume – All-State.
Carlson was named Second-Team All-State by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Carlson was among the region leaders in batting average in 2022 at .611 with five home runs and 47 RBI. He only struck out three times in nearly 100 plate appearances. 19 of his 44 hits were for extra bases.
On the mound, Carlson was 4-4 with a 2.10 ERA. He struck 56 batters in 43 innings.
Carlson has signed to continue his baseball career at Dyersburg State Community College.
